Hi Carol,
Couldn´t agree more with your Magical Child post. I have been consciously exploring the human roots of creativity and communications since I was 5 years old. The child is indeed connected to that 99% of us that is invisibile, source, the soul. He knows he is a creative being in all respects until he is convinced otherwise and yes, the breathing changes and the inner noise pollution increases.

We try to discipline actions without understanding their purpose. what we don´t teach is how each of us must learn to discipline his own imagination and be the master of his own creative attention, life’s most valued currency. it is not so much the imagination that needs to run free as it is the imaginer, to be able to trust, have faith in the vision upon which he focuses the thrust of his imaginative powers.

We can dare the unknown vision when it doesn´t occur to us that our choice would have any other than the expected result and we commit totally to the related appropriate action. When we are thirsty we simply pour ourselves a glass of water. and yes, one principle key is the conscious breath. What we breathe in is not only air, but life itself. and our exhale is our essential creative generosity. And as you know meditation or inner silence is part of life’s joyful fabric. My own realization is that as creative beings we are here to listen, feel and give. In my Soul Medicine book I point out that the only conditions one might consider an illness are spiritual deafness “deaf perception” and spiritual miserliness “missed giving”. My latest book Nanow Imagin-Action how to do it quick, small, simple and complete is an exploration of the creative process in a question answer format. it also introduces the law of confusion and the law of clarity.

My almost 11 year old grandson is coming to visit us here in Sedona next week, always a joyful experience for all of us. In prior visits I have had the pleasure of showing him the grand canyon, taking him on his two first helicopter rides and going 4 wheeling through the famous red rocks of Sedona and hunting for quartz crystals. He says I am his magic grandpa but he is truly the sorcerer-magician and I the apprentice.

I love your word “Imagin~Action”…The MAGI and the GENi in the IMAGInation and the Geni~us within are such a starkly obvious sign that we the Wand is within!

I read about your connection to numbers…mine are 28/02/1960…all together they are a 28 /10 – the same as my birth DAY no. and my name “Carol Omer” letters add up to 100 so I figure that because “One” features so predominantly in my numbers…I have been blessed with a great deal of One’der in life…;-)

…Whats in a name? plenty!…..

Can you choose whether you are an interesting person or a dull person? To a large extent you can. There are things you can do to make your company and your conversation interesting and there are things you can do that will make you boring. If you want to be dull try the following list. If you want to be interesting, do the opposite:

Talk a lot about yourself. Tell people about you and your life. Don’t ask questions. Don’t show an interest in other people and above all do not listen to what they say.

Watch a lot of TV. Do not waste time reading, going out or with hobbies – just keep up with soaps, sports and popular entertainment programs.

Do the same things. Get into a regular routine and do not diverge from it. Don’t try anything new or adventurous.

Don’t waste time on books or the arts. Avoid the cinema, the theatre, literature, magazines, new kinds of music or live performances.

Stay at home. Don’t waste time and money travelling to new places and experiencing different cultures, activities or lifestyles.

Stick with the same group of friends. Keep to the people you have known for a long time. Do not go out of your way to meet people or make new friends.

Do not have goals or a plan. Drift along the way you are doing now. Do not set yourself difficult objectives that you might not achieve. Go with the flow and see what happens.

Never change your mind. Once you have a simple and clear view of the world, stick with it. Do not let new facts or opinions sway you. Stay firmly committed to what you know and brush aside uncomfortable ideas.

Take very poor care of yourself. Drink a lot of alcohol, eat a lot of fatty foods, and get very little exercise.
